Description

This is my entry for the :icondragons-of-pokemon: mascot contest. dragons-of-pokemon.deviantart.…

*EDIT* I won, thanks to all that voted! :D I am so honored and I couldn't have done it without you wonderful people! C:

Name: Olfim Jo'Rak (Based on names from Elder Scrolls games and name-generators.)
Attacks:
-Dragon Claw
-Earthquake
-X-Scissor
-Surf
Level: 54
Nature: Brave
Characteristic: "Good Endurance"
Ability: Mold Breaker

Personality: Mostly a passive Pokémon, Olfim tends to look for ways out of fights and arguments. Despite this, he always enjoys challenges and training. He's always willing to help those who are younger than he is and learn from higher leveled-Pokémon. At times, he lets temper gets to him at frustrating times and moments, but he'll try to keep most of his problems to himself. What he lacks in speed and special defense, he makes up for his brute stamina and attack. Although he loves his scythe, he tries to fight with his normal moves and attacks, especially during territory fights.

Likes: Traveling, training, teaching, almost any sort of food, learning fighting techniques, reading, sleeping, making friends, being warm, open spaces

Dislikes: Losing territorial battles, being in a large crowd, teaching stubborn Pokémon, being bullied into fights, losing friends, being cold, small caves and spaces, sour-foods

Bio: Because he never won a fight for territory, Olfim looked towards weapons that humans used. However, he could only master one due to the length of his arms and motor-skills: A light-weight scythe (despite its size), which he took at a tool shed from an abandoned farm. Olfim travels across the land, hoping that he will one day win his very own territory and master the art of both his moves and his weapon. Until then, Olfim continues on and promises to never give up until his goals have been reached.

Haxorus (Pokémon) belongs to Nintendo/Game Freak

First Critique. . . *nervous laugh*
THE HEAD: The general head shape, and the blades are perfectly sized, proportion-wise. The eye is good, and the scar is a subtle touch.
THE NECK: The neck is mainly hidden behind the left-side blade obstructs the location of the neck's actual bend, making his head appear as slightly disconnected from his neck. The scarf though, it wonderfully executed with a great color choice, and a smooth coloring.
THE CHEST: Not much to say, since it is mainly compromised of the aforementioned scarf.
THE ARMS. I think the left arm's elbow is a bit too circular.
PELVIC AREA: Reminds me of a bee's abdomen, but that's what Haxorus looks like.
LEGS: Well scaled to the rest of the body. Not to long or too short. Though the left leg's inverted knee is hard to make out, due to the use of black on the entire leg.
FEET: I think you should be able to see a bit of the third toe on the right foot, but besides that, perfect.
TAIL: The lines representing the folds in the armor should taper upward, since on a Haxorus the armor overlaps are pointed.
SCYTHE: My favorite weapon of all time. It's length, build and blade are very well done. Though a bit simple. I'ven't check this backstory yet, but if he is a farmer, it's Perfect. If it's used for combat or just looks it's too simple, with a lack of colors, lines, grooves or designs.
OUTLINE: I love the white space between him and the background, it give him a small glow effect. Problem is, it's not consistent, seen on the right foot it's very low and between the legs it outright disappears.
Also it's just an opinion, but colored pencil aren't the best medium. . . . .
